Pepadew Poppers

Makes 8 servings

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 8 pepadews (available at gourmet grocery stores)
  • 2 ounces goat cheese
  • 8 thin slices Serrano ham
  • 2 quarts peanut oil

 

Instructions:

 

Stuff the pepadews with a little goat cheese. Wrap each pepadew with sliced ham. Deep fry at 350°F for 3 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
