Hot Crab Meat Canapé Featured

Ingredients:

  • 3 dozen toast beds
  • 1/2 pound crab meat
  • 6 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Aćcent
  • 1 Tablespoon onion, grated
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly ground
  • Paprika as needed


Instructions:

This recipe first appeared in Pirate's Pantry.

Make toast beds by cutting rounds from bread slices with biscuit cutter. Toast one side only by sautéing in a little butter. Mix next 8 ingredients. Pile mixture on untoasted side of bread rounds and sprinkle with paprika. Place under broiler until bubbly and slightly brown. May be made ahead, covered, and refrigerated; broil just before serving.
