Measure by the teaspoon, the cup or whatever unit you choose. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. For gift-giving, pack into small jars, tins or plastic zipper bags. Attach a favorite recipe for using the blend and finish with a raffia bow.
Suggestions for use: Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of the blend to a pot of spaghetti sauce, soup or stew. For a delicious omelet, whip 2 eggs with 1 teaspoon of the blend and proceed as usual. Stir 1 tablespoon of the blend into 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine; chill in refrigerator several hours to allow flavors to blend. Serve herb butter with baked potatoes or other vegetables, warm breads, and as a topping for broiled steaks, poultry or seafood.
