Pour boiling water over dried herb(s); cover and steep for 3 minutes. Strain tea through a fine sieve or paper filter. Serve hot or iced, with honey, sugar or syrup, to taste. After straining tea, add sugar to equal the volume of tea (1 cup sugar to 1 cup tea) and stir to dissolve sugar; bring to boil and cook down to desired thickness, about 12 to 15 minutes. Cool and store in the refrigerator in a glass jar. Excellent for topping pancakes or waffles, sweetening beverages, using in place of plain water in cake frostings, drizzling over ice cream and fruit salads, and much more.
