Makes 24 servings

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 3 cups pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

 

Instructions:

 

Put all ingredients except pecans and vanilla into a saucepan and cook, stirring occasionally, until it reaches soft ball stage on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat, add pecans and vanilla, stir until it loses its gloss. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Let harden.
