BBQ Dave’s Chicken Wings

Makes 4—6 servings

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 20 to 25 whole chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup Paul Prudhomme’s Poultry Magic
  • 12 ounces Italian salad dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups Zatarain’s Pro Boil dry crab boil
  • 1 bottle BBQ sauce (16 ounces)

 

Instructions:

 

Fill a 10-quart stock pot halfway with water. Bring to a boil and add dry crab boil. Place chicken wings in boiling water. Bring back to boil and continue cooking for 5 to 7 minutes. Turn off heat. Remove the chicken and place in a foil pan. Sprinkle Poultry Magic seasoning on both sides of chicken. Add Italian dressing. Let marinate for 20 minutes. Place chicken on barbecue grill. Cook over low to medium fire. Flip chicken every 5 to 10 minutes, or until each side starts to get golden brown. Add barbecue sauce during last flip cycle. Use mesquite or pecan wood chips for extra flavor.
