Alexandria Riverfront Center, Alexandria, LA Taste of Mardi Gras was created in 1997 as a fundraiser for the Cenla Chapter of the Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA). Proceeds from the event benefit the Cenla Chapter of the Louisiana Restaurant Association with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the LRA Education Foundation for Hospitality, Restaurant, Tourism and Culinary programs in Louisiana.
