11 things you’ll miss if you’re not at the 2015 Chefs to Watch Dinner

There are only a few tickets remaining for this year’s Chefs to Watch Dinner on October 19 in New Orleans. If you don’t act quickly, these are just a few of things you’ll be missing:

1. Celebrity Sighting

Meet and greet the evening’s host, Food Network’s Chopped Champion and Louisiana culinary sensation, Cory Bahr.

2. Tasty Night Out in a Beautiful Setting

Whether on a date or a night out with friends, who doesn’t love a good excuse to dress up for the evening? (Attire is Cocktail Casual.) Did we mention the gorgeous venue? Sac-a-lait is a feast for the senses. Set in a 19th century cotton mill, the restaurant features hand-crafted furniture and ironwork, scenic décor, and more.

3. A Night at the Windsor Court

The Windsor Court is offering a special nightly rate for Chefs to Watch attendees. The picturesque hotel is one of only two in New Orleans to earn four diamonds from AAA and four stars from Forbes.

4. Hors d’oeuvres from Sac-a-lait

Experience delectable “Haute Cajun” specialties with passed hors d’oeuvres from 2014 Chef to Watch Cody Carroll.

5. Wine, Wine, and More Wine

Republic National Distributing Company has meticulously paired each course with a complementary wine. (Wine is both complimentary and complementary.)

6. Oyster Soup by Chef Melissa Martin

The Chef/Owner of Curious Oyster Company has a serious way with the savory Gulf mollusk.

7. Stuffed Blue Crab by Chef Jeffrey Hansell

With access to Lake Pontchartrain’s bounty, Jeffrey has created a stunning and flavorful blue crab dish.

You don’t want to miss this dish, complete with Farro Verdo Succotash, Truffle Green Pea Puree, Sweet Corn-Chow, and Sunchoke Vichyssoise.

Raised in Sportsman’s Paradise, Nick brings the flavors of North Louisiana to your plate in this playful and creative course.
