Pie Dough
  • 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons ice water
  1. In the work bowl of a food processor, pulse together flour, salt, and sugar until combined. Add cold butter, and pulse until mixture is crumbly. Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, pulsing just until combined. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface, and shape into a 5-inch disk. Wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
