Creole Cream Cheese Filling
  • 1 cup Creole Cream cheese (recipe follows)
  • ½ cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cane syrup
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Zest of ½ lemon
  • ½ cup Satsuma Jelly (recipe follows)
  1. In a large bowl, combine Creole Cream Cheese, brown sugar, cane syrup, cinnamon, salt, and zest; beat mixture with a mixer at medium speed until combined. Fold in Satsuma Jelly, and set aside.
