Salu Bistro and Bar on Magazine Street is celebrating summer with a special BBQ-themed menu, launching on Wednesday, July 1st and running throughout the month. The menu can be ordered a la carte or served as a pre-fixe (mussels, choice of app, choice of entrée and choice of dessert) for $40.

Menu items include BBQ Mussel Boil with grilled corn, smoked sausage and whole garlic; 14-hour Beef Brisket with macaroni and four-cheese skillet and southern fried greens; Chef Mike (Salu’s Culinary Director)’s Smoky Sticky Ribs with potato and egg salad; Buttermilk Fried Chicken with a watermelon salad, crumbled feta and pickled onion ranch; various side dishes including Creamed Chipotle Corn, Southern Fried Greens with Ham Hock, Buttermilk Biscuits and Gravy and many more; and Candied Pecan Pie for Dessert.
