Serves 2
Ingredients
- ½ lemon, quartered
- 4 ounces whiskey
- 2 ounces Peach-Mint Simple Syrup, recipe follows
- Dash of Angostura bitters
- Garnish: peach slices, fresh mint
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle lemon until juice is released. Add 3 ice cubes, whiskey, Peach-Mint Simple Syrup, and bitters. Cover shaker, and shake until very cold. Strain into 2 glasses over ice cubes. Garnish with peaches and mint, if desired.

Peach-Mint Simple Syrup

Serves 6
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 large mint leaves
- 1 peach, peeled, pitted, and quartered
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine 1 cup water, sugar, mint, and peach. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, and let stand 15 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean jar, discarding solids. Cover and refrigerate until cold, up to 2 weeks.
