OMG! My only problem now is which one to try first. Have never seen a collection of recipes of any kind that each and every one made me think that this is the one to try first but then I would look at the next one and then that one would make me think “Wait….this is the one to try first”. Can’t wait to get started and seems as though there are several of these that could be frozen.
Sorry but I gotta run now so I can make my list and head for the store for my ingredients! Yum Yum!!!
Ikr mmmm sounds so good.
I too have not seen such a list in one location. Also, like you, don’t know which to try first….and the holidays are right around the corner. Yeah!
Where can I find a place to ship some crawfish to me here in North Carolina?? I was in New Orleans 2 years ago and brought some back on the plane!! I am sure there is someone who does this??
Cajun Grocer is a good source. They’ll ship live and boiled crawfish, as well as packaged tail meat: https://www.cajungrocer.com/live-crawfish.html
Lacrawfish.com. will ship directly to your door. 2 days notice is all that’s required. They send the seasoning with your crawfish. I live in New York but I was born and raised in New Orleans. We have a boil every year and it just keeps getting bigger.
Care to share your New York address and maybe the time and date for this year? lolol
Our local WalMart sells crawfish tails in the frozen section. If your WalMart doesn’t have them you can request that they stock the “Bernards Brand” crawfish tails. Good luck.
Don’t get the ones in Walmart. They do NOT taste like the ones from Louisiana. Bernard brand is the Chinese brand. Your best bet is to get them from Cajun Grocer.
Your local Walmart should have them. Tail meat 12oz bag and 5lbs frozen crawfish.
To those looking for crawfish tail meat – WalMart does have it, but only buy the Riceland brand, which is farmed and processed in Riceland, Louisiana. Their other, cheaper, brand is Boudreau’s – farmed and processed in China…no thank you.
Please make sure they’re Louisiana crawfish and not Asian. The taste difference is worth any extra cost, not to mention the regulations here vs. China. (My go-to vendor is Cajun Grocer.)

Get rid of those capitals for every word..then enjoy crawfish!
If you find frozen crawfish tails, make sure they are not from China. Those are extremely nasty. There are a lot of companies that have Louisiana crawfish tails.
We could not agree more!
Do not buy China product crawfish please! You will ruin the recipe
You can get great Louisiana seafood off of this site. https://louisianadirectseafoodshop.com/shop/
Only buy from Lousiana – these folks work hard and the finished product is the BEST!
I’m from Louisiana. If you want to order crawfish…call Super One Grocery – they can ship it to you. Currently live in Nashville. When I go home, I usually will buy roughly 15 packages…that will take me throughout the year. You can also call Captain Avery Seafood…the best crawfish tails and crab meat around.
